Gina Gentleman, Vice President/Commercial Lending Director, Women's Business Group
Gina has been with Silver State Bank (SSB) since 2002, bringing with her an expansive banking background entailing more than 15 years of experience. She works as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer for the bank as well as co-manages Silver State Bank Women's Business Group, which launched in November 2002.
Gina is currently responsible for developing and maintaining a commercial real estate loan portfolio, and is also tasked with soliciting new business for the bank. In addition to providing her services through financial lending, Gina has taken a step further by agreeing to co-manage the Women's Business Group. Through this branch of Silver State Bank, Gina helps to host quarterly roundtable events, featuring guest speakers and information through parties outside of Silver State Bank, which will help further educate and direct female entrepreneurs in the growth and success of their business. With this "customer first" approach to local women-run businesses and clients, Gina and Silver State Bank take the banking relationship above and beyond that of traditional banking services.
Outside of her Silver State Bank efforts, Gina has committed herself to various professional and community activities. She currently serves as the corporate delegate for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Southern Nevada. Gina has also held the joint position of secretary and treasurer for the Nevada Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation since 1999, for which she chaired the Nevada Arthritis walk in 2004 and 2005. Gina is the recipient of the 2006 Silver State Bank "Most Active in the Community Award" and earned the 2005 Board Member of the Year award from the Arthritis Foundation.
Prior to joining Silver State Bank, Gina worked as an assistant vice president and relationship manager in business development for Wells Fargo Bank/First Security Bank, where she cultivated commercial loans and deposits as well as cross-sold products and services to other bank departments. Gina's professional banking history also includes an assistant vice president and branch managing position with First Interstate Bank, where she managed a team of more than 16 sales and service staff members.
